Pou Creations is a whānau-led pounamu carving studio and gallery based in the heart of Napier. We create handcrafted pounamu taonga, custom pieces, and unique Māori art that honour whakapapa and mātauranga Māori. Our space is also home to immersive carving experiences where visitors can design and carve their own taonga with guidance from experienced carvers. We support Māori artists through showcasing their mahi in our store and offer educational workshops and wānanga for schools and groups. Pou Creations is built on whānau, creativity, and sharing the stories of our tūpuna through stone.
