Get ready for a vibrant celebration of culture, creativity and community as local Hawke’s Bay schools take to the stage for a special dance competition celebrating Diwali, the Festival of Lights!
Join us for an exciting showcase of student talent, colourful performances and energetic dance as young performers share in the joy and spirit of this much-loved festival. Diwali is a time of light, hope, new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil, and this special event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate its traditions while bringing our local community together through the universal language of dance.
Come along to cheer on our talented local students, soak up the festive atmosphere and experience the colour, rhythm and energy of Diwali. Whether you’re supporting a performer, celebrating the festival yourself or simply looking for a fun and uplifting community event, everyone is welcome!
Entry is FREE.
