Hawke’s Bay councils are exploring what local government could look like for our region, and Napier City Council wants to know what you think.
The Government has given councils the opportunity to reform themselves, with three options currently being considered:
- One Hawke’s Bay council
- Two Hawke’s Bay councils (north and south)
- Wait and let the Government decide
Join us at this community meeting to hear more about the options on the table, ask questions, and talk with Council representatives about what they could mean for Napier.
There are no decisions made yet. We know each option comes with potential benefits, challenges and trade-offs, and we want to understand what matters most to our community before any proposal is developed.
