A best-selling author of 11 books, with biographies of Wallis Simpson, Jennie Churchill, Mother Teresa and Laura Ashley to name a few. Her most recent book about Ethel Rosenberg was optioned by Miramax and shortlisted for the Wingate Prize. Anne has published widely, and her book Les Parisiennes won the Franco-British award. Anne has presented programmes for BBC R3 and R4. Anne worked as a foreign correspondent for Reuters and has worked for the BBC World service in the Arabic department. Anne is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, a senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Historical Research. Anne is regular speaker for many trusts and well-known institutions.
