Strong people build strong communities — and strong communities build strong people!
Clubs New Zealand, in partnership with the Whatever with Wiggy Charitable Trust, is proud to bring the Club Connect campaign to life across the country.
This nationwide series of events will be hosted at Clubs New Zealand venues — the heart of local communities — and is open to everyone who wants to be part of making a difference in wellbeing and mental health.
Whether you're supporting friends, colleagues, clients, whānau, or simply want to learn how to be there for others, these events offer practical tools, inspiring stories, and a clear path to making an impact.
Come along and hear from:
Craig "Wiggy" Wiggins, Rural Communicator of the Year, Founder of Lean on a Gate
Slade McFarland, Former Māori All Black and wellbeing advocate, Campaigner for Mates in Construction
They’ll share their personal experiences and simple, effective ways to support others — with opportunities for further training and resources for those who want to do more.
Who should attend?
Anyone from sports clubs, local businesses, support agencies, or the general public — all are welcome.
This isn’t just another talk — it’s a movement to create stronger, more connected communities, starting from the grassroots up.
Let’s stand together. Let’s talk. Let’s support one another.
